Rosary Home
Mother of God, Blessed Virgin Mary, apparition in various parts of the world in recent years had frequently asked for the recitation of the Rosary, the prayer she gave to the world a few centuries ago. It is known that this is her favorite prayer as it is essentially a meditation on the whole salvation mission of her Divine Son.
The Rosary is a combination of reciting the prayers (the Our Fathers; Hail Mary…) out loud and reflection of the life and different stages of our Lord, Jesus Christ .
The traditional 15 Mysteries of the Rosary were standardized, by Pope St. Pius V in the 16th century: the joyful mysteries, the sorrowful mysteries, and the glorious mysteries. In 2002, Pope John Paul II announced the new luminous mysteries, bringing the total number of mysteries to 20.
