Being Loyal To God

Do you show your loyalty to God by expressing it to others even when it comes to your enemies? How does God take your loyalty as an example to others? To be loyal to God and to other folks it is a rare characteristic to find in someone and for you to develop it, you must pass thru tests from God to understand how your reactions are and what your choices would be in such definite situations. Loyalty always needs faith so as to be developed and also to please God.

Taking the example of Jesus Christ; He was loyal to God-His Father and also to us no matter how shameful we appear to be! Have you ever asked yourself “How loyal am I to God?” Why would you consider yourself a loyal person? When do you notice loyalty in you to others?

Just as Jesus Christ was loyal to God for all people, He decided to die for our sins; we should also be clear in our character and in our love to one another. Loyal people aren’t traitors to Christ. They’re trustworthy and stand for the truth no matter how the battle fumes. They remain correct and right in their Christian life by defending the objective of loyalty according to God’s will. God needs action in loyalty! Words alone aren’t enough to recognise and determine if an individual is loyal or not! We must understand that being loyal; you need to open your heart and let God dwell in you since only thru the incentive of love that loyalty comes from the heart.

Being trustworthy is another way to recognize loyal folks. Without trust, loyalty cannot be build. When our hearts are filled up with disloyal items, mistrust prevails and enmity emerges in people’s hearts. Life turns out to be miserable since families and friendships splits apart. As Christians, it’s high time to be careful not to fall under the theme of mistrust which builds up disloyal!

Let the characteristic of loyalty to God shine forth in our lives instead of complaining over our responsibilities and duties to serve God. Ask God to give you a loyal heart for you to be a role model to your family or people around you. Marriage, friendship or family can’t stand to its roots if folks lack loyalty. You as an individual can’t be at peace if your heart is unclean and lacks loyalty. Are you ready to find loyalty thru God’s grace?

Finding loyalty is one way of faithfully spending our time in God’s presence praying and taking His word as our sword. When we testify our sincere testimony before others which God saw fit to bring into our lives through the trials and circumstances we went thru so as to be what we are; regardless of if we were thieves, magicians, prostitutes or murderers; glorifies our Heavenly Father as we are loyal affiliates of His family.
